Byron's Light Rumble

The Kings guard brought the gathered Orion, Izlude and Akashka forces to a large encampment outside of Byron’s Light. The Rhyspells had been laying siege to the capitol for a little over a month and had acquired new siege engines which allowed them to burst into the city through the Kings Road, a bridge that stretches from the protective walls of Bryon’s Light to the Pyrefire Castle gardens. They Rhyspell had begun to pour into the city and sack Byron’s Light when the allied Bygarian forces arrived at their rear and flank.
The Kingsguard lead a bold charge into the heart of the Rhyspell forces, defeating soldiers, duergar mercenaries, the Green Flight, elite warforged soldiers and several key Jerban nobles, including Sybil Rhoz, Samuel Greenstone, Jord Mirtus, Detrois Rhyspell, Sir Giles of Grapestones, and eventually Spierre Rhyspell. Several Daemons walked into the throneroom and began to devour Spierre’s soul. A towering and evil Daemonic Lord came through the Portal, he spoke to Spierre, saying he was a weak man. Donovan Castle

The Kingsguard was finally reunited in a secret mission to Prima, home of the Orion family. Gravin Bigana told Raevyn and Nevron about a secret meeting between Burard Orion and his remaining generals. Keiko and Petalula Isriia were given this information by Paulos Izlude, who then teleported the two to Ember Island to await the arrival of Nevron, Raevyn and Coddee DeWilde. After crossing the Dark Shores on the Salty Swift, the Kingsguard was allowed to regroup and spend some time on Ember Island.

They then set off for Seapoint and went to a local bar known as ‘The Mermaids Tear’ where they met Nile Trayvor, captain of the Donovan Honor Guard. Keiko bewitched the pub with her drum and Raevyn took Trayvor under her control, learning the weaknesses, strengths and hidden entrances of Donovan Castle. The party set out in the afternoon the following day to intercept the meeting between the Prima generals.

The party sneaked into the hidden waterway entrance into the castle, dispatching two Sargasso Fiends who had taken residence in the tunnel. The Kingsguard then came upon the crossroom for the hidden tunnels that run through Donovan Castle. However, a powerful Clockwork golem had been put in the crossroom to attack anyone who didn’t know how the secret password. The Kingsguard pumped Nevron with several spells and he along with Blue the eidolon defeated the Mechanical Monster.

They then spied on the generals who had agreed to ally themselves fully with the Rhyspells. Shain Hirall had been masquerading as The Young Vampire Lord and Burard was entrusting him with nearly half of his forces in the attack. The party then cornered Dorfe and Burard Orion, killing Burard and bewitching Dorfe. It came to light that Shain and the Princess Tamara had married. Raevyn then formed the plan to rally the remaining Orion forces and align them against the Rhyspells.

Belbe Continued

Nevron, Pianna, Raevyn and Codee DeWilde made their assault on the Citizen’s Palace in the deep darkness in Little Aido. They caught the guardian Foo Lions unaware and took down Matsumoto’s personal bodyguards and sub-bosses for the underground network. They then took on Matsumoto herself, who was revealed to be a spider-witch Jorugumo. After a grueling battle, Matsumoto was defeated and the Kingsguard was able to stealthily flee the area and meet Boss Kilman the next morning.

Kilman informed the group that during the raid on the 12 Faced Temple, Ryldais was apprehended and immediately executed for failing to cooperate with the Orion forces. This action was taken hastily by Galta Orion when Ryldais II spit in the lord’s face after being restrained. Kilman told the group that Galta was now planning on wiping out the remaining heretics and rebels they’d captured in Belbe and were planning on executing the 12-Faced Clerics, Tamara Akashka and St. Ajora. The Kingsguard then infiltrated into Old Belbe with the crowds to witness the executions, but attacked the guards and Galta before the captured could be executed.

Galta Orion met his end at Nevron’s black-blade and was finished off by a group of cloudy-appearing outsiders who St. Ajora had called forth during the battle. The Aeons summoned by Ajora attacked the White Cowled Knights and sent the entire city into a panic. After the battle the group came to fully see that the Princess Tamara was nowhere to be found but had somehow been whisked out of the city by Shain Hirall and the two were headed to Donovan Castle for reasons unknown.

Orion Occupied Belbe

Nevron, Pianna and Raevyn have enlisted the help of the young and fresh-faced Codee DeWilde and her eidolon, Blue. Together they have all sneaked into the expansive city of Belbe. They met with Boss Kilman, head of the North Side Belbe gangs who had become displeased by the Orion’s occupation of the city. He proposed a deal with the Kings Guard. IF they could wipe out Boss Matsumoto, the head of the South Belbe Gangs in Little Aido he would grant them access to the under-city where the princess was possibly being kept along with St. Ajora.
The party then disguised themselves as Bigana White Cloaks and went into the sectioned off Old Belbe. The ran into Malak Sinchella who Raevyn was able to seduce along with Codee and Pianna into allowing them into the Sinchella Manse, where Galta Orion and Gravin Bigana were staying. The party subdued a half-naked Malak and left to explore the manse in search of the White Knight generals. They found Gravin Bigana in his room alone. He is a principled man with an undying devotion to the Ocheral family, but his current pledge is to the Orions. Out of respect he chose to keep his silence about the party’s infiltration of the Manse and told them a tale.
Nearly twenty years ago, Gravin Bigana accompanied his best friend Tucker Ocheral on a great adventure to the Western Continent. They wanted to visit all the places they’d only heard about. The Dragon Kings of Aido, the roaming tribes of Orcs in the Greenlands, the sandswept palaces of Rocyn but uncovered a secret beyond their imagining when they came across Athas, the birthplace of Magic. There they witnessed the incredible destructive power of the Athasian mages, who had already completely dessimated two of the largest cities on the western continent. When they returned to Bygaria with the news of a growing threat out west, Orinas II had no care other than a preparation to invade New Umtao. It was then that the Ocherals launched their attack on the Akashka family.
After learning this news and being unable to track down Galta Orion the KG went to the Citizen’s Palace in Little Aido, fulfilling their obligation to Boss Matsumoto.

Welcome to your Adventure Log!
A blog for your campaign

Every campaign gets an Adventure Log, a blog for your adventures!

While the wiki is great for organizing your campaign world, it’s not the best way to chronicle your adventures. For that purpose, you need a blog!

The Adventure Log will allow you to chronologically order the happenings of your campaign. It serves as the record of what has passed. After each gaming session, come to the Adventure Log and write up what happened. In time, it will grow into a great story!

Best of all, each Adventure Log post is also a wiki page! You can link back and forth with your wiki, characters, and so forth as you wish.

One final tip: Before you jump in and try to write up the entire history for your campaign, take a deep breath. Rather than spending days writing and getting exhausted, I would suggest writing a quick “Story So Far” with only a summary. Then, get back to gaming! Grow your Adventure Log over time, rather than all at once.
